Hi,

I have a Wordpress site and am looking for a plugin a free plugin if possible that I can use to dripfeed content onto a page of my site daily about a certain celeb. I have Google alerts is there anyway I can directly feed that into wordpress?
Also at the moment I am on page 2 of Google for one of my keyword phrases which is great but want to get on page 1 do you have any tips or tricks for seo with Wordpress.

I am thinking about converting my website to wordpress. I was thinking it would be easier for SEO. Is this a good idea for a local construction type company. I also thought it might be easier to roll out a mobile site. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
 
Question: My blog page will not open from the main page. The main page appears on both. How do I correct the problem?

make sure the root domain is correct in wp settings

How to covert HTML to Wordpress

I will like to convert my existing site to wordpress without looking the SEO i have done on the site. My site was designed with xsite pro so i have lots of pages.. please tell me how i can do this. i am not a programmer

I was looking for similar some time ago ... I found a 'solution' but did not purchase: other projects crossed my path and have not revisited.

Hey guys i got an error when using set featured images:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_post_thumbnail_id() in /-/-/-/-/public_html/site/wp-admin/includes/media.php

Any help?
 
After 3 hours of trying to get custom fonts in Wordpress I give up! Tried manually editing and plugins alike and screwed around with my CSS to no avail! AHH!

OriginalEXE I need your help! It seems to the easiest way is to use WP Google Fonts plugin but it only changes the text in the menus and header/footer but not the body text. If I'm using this Plugin what's the custom CSS I need to insert so that the new fonts are accessible from the drop down menu in the page editor so I can use the body text with the new font? This is driving me nuts and your help would be MASSIVELY appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone used the Convertible Elegant Theme - landing page maker. When I click 'save changes' it just takes me back to the theme page of wordpress.

Hi there, Would really appreciate any feedback from someone on this. I'm a bit confused on this issue!

My wp website was set up on a poorly thought out directory ie mydomaincouk/irrelevant. Please note I've had to remove the dots from the website addresses in this post due to lack of posts or something!!

I have since had it all moved to a more relevant directory ie mydomaincouk/relevant

My question is should the site be in a directory at all or in the root directory? I've read some conflicting opinions.


The second part of my question relates to seo. Over the last few months I've purchased seo services. When asked for a url I've simply given the wwwmydomaincouk.

Have I made a classic noob error here? How should/could I resolve this.

My site is a new small business site for myself. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers LondonJT

My knowledge of Wordpress is not that good. I am currently in the process of creating an ecommerce site. I will only be selling a few products. Is there a good theme I can use for this that is not complicated for a guy like me?
