Word Press Best Set up for Autoblog

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had a great wordpress plugin setup for wordpress especially autoblogging on wordpress. I run a site that gets 1000 people a day that I started in Oct 12th this year.

I currently use mainly Feedwordpress and some times WP-O-Matic - has anyone fine tuned the settings to get more visitors?

My Settings FeedWordPress
60 minute intervals between polling
point local copy as source of article
Give the aggregator itself as the source of posts from an aggregator feed.
Allow comments on syndicated posts
Don't accept pings on syndicated posts

I know there is some guy selling some wordpress plug ins for SEO that are already configured just interested in everyones thoughts and ideas that they have uncovered while running your blogs.

I am currently making $3 - $5 a day in adsense and wondered if this was good money for the traffic numbers?

I am happy to let you know what my site is but as it is my second only post I am not sure if I can post the website address. It is to do with Iphone Apps though.

Seems like you're using some plugins for a membership site... is your blog a membership-type of blog?

How are you getting 1000 uniques?

I have set up the membership area but I haven't activated it yet.

In answering a 1,000 uniques I am not one for going for the small niche's as even a small piece of the rankings gets a lot of traffic.

I started with twitter poster that automatically twits out my posts about 6,000 twitts by now although 18,000 posts. I used another twitter plug in to post 1 post every hour when the site was young but now I just smash twitter with every post.

Secondly I cannot stress the importance rss feeds. I submit to the major RSS feeders and when I started I backlinked about 500 sites like compete, quantcast who is, about etc...You can find these lists on BHW.

I then indexed my site to google webmaster and after a slow start of indexing for about a month my traffic exploded, mainly due to my ever changing RSS feeds and more spiders coming to my site to read my RSS feeds. XML site maps tells google where you are and the RSS feeds tell the search engines your alive and running hard so keep coming back. I did pace my posts in the first 4 weeks and then I went crazy I now post about 70 - 100 posts a day automatically from about 20 different feeds - I have no unique content on the site.

I use stumble upon and every few days I choose a random post and stumble up on it. Tweetmeme has also helped get great traffic to my site in the early days - great plug in.
