Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get a new site developed in WooCommerce. I do not need hosting, I have a staging site setup for this task. You will need to also make a logo and design the theme for this ecommerce site. The main focus would be on B2B customers.
There are 2 main classes of products, akin to a specific kind of ink and paper. The paper will be made of different materials, and comes in 3 different formats: sheets, rolls and reams. The ink is also custom to the kind of paper, so one kind of ink is suitable for 90% of the paper whether its in sheets, rolls or reams, and the other ink will be needed for materials that include plastic, or made of other materials such as PP etc. The ink is separated into different sizes, widths, lengths etc, but there are no differing formats, ink only comes in one kind of format.
These papers and ink are designed for specific printers, so a paper that has a certain width will not fit in a printer that doesn't accept that with. As a result, we need to give these products different attributes where ACF Pro comes in. These products will need attributes such as color, width, length, material, core size, printer compatibility, adhesive, liner etc.
I can provide some sample sites to those freelancers who can provide me with examples of past work that involves using ACF pro and custom filters that can show products according to these attributes.
Now to the filter sections, we need to be able to filter the products according to the above attributes, as well as other status such as in stock, printer compatibility (according to width), and use cases (some materials such as paper are better suited to temporary uses such as flyers or newspapers, while higher quality materials such as plastic, PP are better suited to longer term use cases such as magazines, and books).
Take a look at the following sites for an example of the kind of filters that are used on other sites.
I can provide a list of the target attributes that would be needed as well as a list of products that would need to be entered. The images and product details will need to be lifted from another site and catalog (which will be provided). Since there are different classes of products, each product category will need its own filter. For example, filtering a site that sells laptops and clothes will be able to have a filter that you can choose laptops by hard disk size, and screen size, but the clothing section would allow for you to filter by color, and size (Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large).
I also need 4 forms for this site.
1) Repair service form, for printer repairs. It would need a number of drop down sections including the brand of the printer, the issue being faced as well as the address, point of contact, email, company name, number etc. Once the email comes in, the rest will be handled by the users.
2) Custom printing form. It would need a section for people to upload their designs, as well as the relevant information such as size of the paper, number of prints, color, numbering format etc.
3) Custom paper form. I have a form from another website that would need to be cloned. Can be shared upon seeing examples of past similar work done.
4) Calculator. This would show why customers would prefer to buy paper + ink from our site vs others. It would need to be similar to the following site.
The top menu bar would need to have a mega menu which would then go down to a category page displaying the different kinds of paper and ink.
The following links will show how to use the suitable plugins however you can share what else you would use in its place.
I'd ideally like the site to be up within two weeks. Payment will be through Paypal or Crypto. I will only work with vendors who can show adequate proof of past work done.
