Wise Account - Blocked

I wonder when wise block an account is it permanent forever? Will one get the chance in the future?

I'm coming in late to this, but did you ever find out or deduce why they did this? Was there a large transfer of funds? They asked for my business address 6 months ago (and wouldn't accept a PO BOX which I have most everything registered to since I travel the world and work out of many addresses). Today, out of the blue, they said they couldn't transfer money out of my business account to my personal account until they could receive a lease, so the account is on hold until they decide if the lease is valid. You'd think they would give you notice a few months in advance that they needed this rather than suddenly shut your account off. I'm afraid I'll get a similar notice of a permanent lockout - one of the hardest things about working around the world and paying vendors in different currencies is this suspicion that you're doing something nefarious - yet the multi currency account is what they promote for why you should become a customer. I switched to WISE because the US banks charge a fortune and don't handle multiple currencies well...I haven't tried Revolut but they may be the next option.

Any recommendations?

Thank you all for your responses. A few months later, they finally transferred all the money from my account to my bank account, but my profile was never reactivated. I can't contact them via email because they blocked me (which is ridiculous), and I can't reach out from another email since it's not connected to Wise. They are not a serious company.

I contacted them through their social media profiles, which is how I eventually managed to communicate with Wise. Just so you know, I never transferred money from Wise to crypto platforms, and I still have no idea why they blocked me.

Can you recommend other platforms similar to Wise or Payoneer?

They are

I have a couple of Wise accounts since years and never an issue.

What I dont do:

Receive money from people, only from white listed companies.

That's basically the only reason people get blocked.

Are they stealth accounts? Have they ever asked for documents etc?
How do you manage multiple accounts? do you also use multiple phones?
I have a similar plan, looking for ideas how to manage multiple accounts.

Stealth? No, Wise knows about them

The only time they asked for documents was when I added a LLC business account for them. Yes, I use dedicated phone for each Wise. These are old accounts now, I think Wise is much stricter with new accounts. But one simple rule to keep them alive: Don't get payments from personal IBANs - only from Paypal and the like.

So they are legit accounts. Even if you don't receive from personal IBAN you will send to persnal IBAN. Same for paypal and others. But having multiple phones just for wise is a lot of overhead.

In their terms they said they keep data for a few years. Wonder if after that period we can create another account?
