I am currently workonw with a local restaurant/delivery, I improved their internet presence and I thought about making them a Instagram account buy 2k followers and post HQ pictures, but I had this contest idea where I'd you eat at the shop you can take a picture of the meal & upload it to your story & tag the account entering you to the competition to win a free meal, the idea is that we do this every month but will it be profitable?
I could also do this with FB and spiderlink wp plugin thus making it easier to track.

(No idea where to post this)

I don't know about profitable directly, but in the long run, incentivizing customers to post on their social media channel of choice, will benefit the company. Entering customer into a raffle of some sort for interacting with the restaurant's social media account brings a lot of legitimacy to the restaurant, which in turn could increase the number of future customers.

Maybe you can give every person that uploads the image dessert. :) that way, it’s a win-win for everyone. And when people come to a restaurant, they’ll most likely order other things too. I see McDonald’s pulling this method for free fries, etc and it seems to be really effective.

And if they have a certain amount of followers, you can give them something a little greater?

A free desert is a way bigger loss than 2 fries more, plus MacDonald's buys their stuff for dirt cheap from their private suppliers, anyway what I am trying to say is that this is not possible

A dessert can be anything bro. You can offer an ice cream too! Imagine an average person with 300-500 followers eating at a local restaurant and their friends see it. They wouldn’t come too. I see a lot of restaurants in local area doing it. Maybe because I live in California.

You gotta get some hot girls in IG pics eating there then eryone wanna come down and check it out

Just read about Spiderlink, that seems to be good!

That's a good Idea maybe set a meal price limit for the winner in the first time then after some months that limit can be deleted

instead of free meal why not make a website and each person that post gets there next meal %50 off valid for 7days and then make a website where by you post customers of the day and give them a link before they leave the restaurant to see there picture as customer of the day, and dont forget to add all your social media links on the site etc and add a share button to facebook not only are you publicizing the business your increasing the reach across all social media and in return your customers are happy most will share on fb to brag etc
