Will it hurt my website rankings ?

i have dating related blog and ranking high on targeted keywords. ..
DA: 13 homepage PA: 25

what if i post different topic related post along with this dating posts. ? will it downrate my already ranking pages. ?

i want to post some craft and hobby related stuff. (around 10 posts to target some low com. keywords)

or it will be better to create a separate blog for that?

I personally won't recommend this, because you have blog particular for a dating niche.So, if you post some other niche articles into it, it looks like spammy though.
Try to create a separate blog, it will be the better option and also safe too.

Post different topics only if you are willing to make your blog look general and planning to add more articles on the same topic in future too.

Do not post different ones for time being, it will not look good. Proper niche site will always work well.

I would register a separate domain for that, it only costs $10 or so, you should be able to use the same hosting account. The 2 niches are too different to mix them. Otherwise such new content should not help you, and may hurt your rankings in dating.

i thought ,, i can just use the DA of current domain.. instead of starting from zero. but from all your suggestion ... I think separate domain will be better.

I also would not recommend posting different content on an already ranking niche, it will hurt you just open a new blog remember not to link them and you will be safe.

Don't mix niches into your blog if you have authority into Dating. As everybody answered I advise you to create a separate and fresh new blog.

Yes, it will affect your rankings and it looks spammy. As others said you can create a separate domain for this.
