Hey everyone, I have been reading alot on this forum lately and I want to make a authority site myself. I want to make one about something I Like though. So I want to make a website about fitness, but my concern is that I won't get enough traffic since the internet is already full of these kind of sites. I really need some of your opinions. Ooh and sorry for my bad English .

Try to grow social accounts around that niche, and then send social traffic to your site

Thank you for your answer, but won't it take really long to get a account big enough to get a decent amount of traffic from it (without spending alot of money on shoutouts).

In fact it'll be really hard since you have to compete with sites that already has big authority on the niche, but nothing is impossible if you're really into it.

If you think the competition is too high, then go to a more narrow niche in fitness: special diets, workouts while sitting, IDK.. Something that is both unique and interesting to the average joe.

Then research what keywords are going to target and do some small SEO at first (if you are not willing to spend much money)

Too many sites about fitness?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who still need advice about losing weight, getting in shape, and all the little niches in this market.

Get off the fence and go after it.

If you mostly go into something for just money and not having a passion you mostly fail. I mean people can have a passion to make money, but still its dedicated and hard work. The earlier you start the better chance you have

You can get more traffic by backlinking. Just try some of the platforms for that. SponsoredReviews, GetReviewed, PayPerPost.. Choose the one that you like the most and thats it.
