Why such websites rank so well?

Hi,

I'm just trying to understand why one of my competitors can rank so well.

The Domains have only a few backlinks furthermore there is no page navigation, no menus no Impressum no disclaimer or other things like that. Not more than 10 Indexed sites on Google.

I don't want to post the domains here so I will send the over pm.

Maybe somebody can explain this to me?

I don’t know anything about these types of sites, but for future reference, you can use browser plugins to see what kinds of features a blog is running. On Chrome, you can use the "what runs" extension. So when you’re on a site, click the extension icon and it tells you which analytics they’re using, which ads, fonts, etc. I’m sure other browsers have similar plugins.

Hi,

Ok, so I have now after long search found the answer to the question.

One of the sites uses a 301 redirect method. This 301 site has a lot of good backlinks and probably the reason why the pages in Google perform so well.

I won't publish the site and also not by pm or otherwise.

That seems to be the case of OP competitor.

I also have a client (lawyer) with 301 redirect (plus good baclinks profile) and it is sticky at no 2 for 1+ year.

Does the redirecting domain has to be in (or around) the same niche?
