I'm Using WordPress For 3 Months, And It's Been A Great Journey, If You Guys Have An Better Option Then Tell Me:)

I like it to be honest with you. The variety of options you get there with ease is what makes me pick WP and yes i would like to mention it is widely used and you get answers to many of your questions when you need.

I have a better option. Build your own content management software using any one of the popular frameworks available. Everything will be under your control, if you use your own CMS.

Problem with WordPress is that elementor and wpbakery ecosystem. This is a nigtmare to build with it. It's mostly used for building clients websites. No benefit from using this if you do websites for yourself. Woocommerce is not useful either. It looks like garbage when you edit it a lot. And mix with other plugins like acf.

You need a whole plugin to use 1% of its whole functionality. Clearly that's not the case with modern websites.

Once your website is ready, you have 20 plugins installed. Now you have to optimize that and reduce that bloat and still maintain to not break the site.

20 plugins means your admin panel has couple thousands new options you can switch on and off. Type of customability that won't be used and just takes up space. Wp admin areas can get you lost.

It’s mostly just passive aggressive developers that criticise it out of bitterness and cybersecurity pros that ridicule it for being too basic…. well yeah that is kind of the idea. :)

Dude can’t even be bothered sorting basic Ux shit on his site right and is expecting people to pay 30 bucks for five google reviews. Fuck that shit.
 
I've never had any issues with Wordpress... sometimes different plugins got in the way, but I've worked with many sites on Wordpress and I like it best.
