Why people prefer PPD over direct CPA?

Hi guys,

ok, in the last time makes me think the situation that people for combination Youtube+Download prefer much more PPD (for example Cleanfiles) over posting their files to their own FTP.
Why? I mean - in PPD the are people limited by the provider (eg. - max 20 uploaded files and so on), but if they would choose direct the CPA network, then save their files on their own FTP and add CL, no limits... isn't this better variant than PPD?

Also, what about earnings? Which variant is more profitable?
Sorry for maybe a little unnecessary question, but I just wanted to ask for.
(Yep, I agree the second version take maybe a little bit more time for setup)

Some people cannot get approved for CPA offers so they do PPD. The best thing is to do BOTH hehe
 
cpa site require attention. will ppd is easy and its easy to get its account.
 
Because they don't know how to create nad set up their own content locker, use a blanking script and eventually dilute the CTR with other traffic to make it look legit. In other words it pays a fraction of what it potentially could, but it's the ready-to-go solution for someone that's either not too expert or that's too lazy. That's why ;)
 
Only those people use PPD who are unable to get accepted into CPA networks or don't know how to set up and use content lockers since PPD is simple and really easy to start with thought pays a little less. And some PPDs even allow uploading copyrighted content which you might not be able to upload on your own server.
 
its because there are noob people that never heard before of CPA. Thats why. So its very possible someone stick with PPD and think that he hit jackpot, and never look for something better. imagine the irony of someone boasting about his PPD earnings

PPD is very nice for their quick payouts (and less stress of a banhammer) but a CPA network is way better pay hands down!
 
I use PPD and make 3k a month.. you guys saying i should trick cpa companies and use non-insentive offers in a CLocker?
 
Usually new people prefer PPD sites over CPA networks because PPD sites are easy to use.
 
No need our own hosting account... I prefer PPD too.. It Is EASY... :newspaper
 
Is adscendmedia content locker good enough if someone wants to shift from PPD to CPA ?? I have an adscendmedia account

i guess because of their ease of use and reliability
 
quick payouts, easy to get in, and easy to get another account if you do some shit and get banned.
 
Because its much easier to just sign up to a PPD site.
If you use CPA they have to apply, wait, get approved, then make a website to have their content locker on.
PPD does all that work for you.
 
PPD is way more easier to setup. When going into CPA you need to take care of alot of things like, get the right traffic make sure it won't get you into trouble... for example if you get like 200 clicks and no revenue your affiliates will start thinking what you're doing as suspicious and fake traffic. When on the other hand on PPD network they simply don't care unless it's adult traffic, You can promote fake files and get away with it. But on CPA companies you have to setup cloaking links and make sure they redirect the traffic to the right place and make sure your affiliates won't question you about your traffic.

I've both run CPA and PPD and to summ up my experience :

CPA = easier to make money with, more risky I lost like 500$ because the owners of the offer I was promoting was mostly getting fake ID's and such on the registers I was providing.

Anyhow, PPD is mostly for noobs and they can offer anything without getting in trouble, basicly. Don't get me wrong, pros also run this to make money, some find it easier to promote downloads than amazon offers etc. But the majority is what I mentioned earlier.

Plus PPD is way more easier to setup about registrating etc.
