That's not completely true. TheVigilante's ban got everyone talking. And multiple times, too. :D

I only ever had one exchange with him many years ago and wouldn't every say that I would want him as one of my friends. Shared some good content so I'll give him that, but as others have said anyone breaking any of the rules is going to get what's coming to them regardless of who they are (except possibly the owner of BHW, I figure they can do whatever they like).
 
maybe he found a way to abuse the forum ? and used it as leverage .... the ultimate blackhatter .....
 
They need to scrap to this VIP mumbo jumbo I haven't seen any of these jr executive vip's say anything useful so far and I didn't even know executive vip's existed until this guy just got banned.

Spend your time reading other sub-forums rather than posting conspiracy theories on the lounge all the time. You'd probably then read some useful stuff from not only execs but also other Jr. VIPs.
 
What can extortion mean?

Maybe he said he would sue BHW if they didn't give him privileges for something?

Or maybe he said he would make public some sensitive information he has accumulated over the years if someone doesn't do something?

Or maybe he threatened someone with DDoS or ransomware?

I wonder how serious it was or if it was a one-time incident.

This and the exposing sensitive info part seems the most likely.

Given the wording, it would likely mean they attempted threating a mod/leaking sensitive details if they didn't pay/ do what they asked.

Or they threatened someone of doing negative seo/ddos on them if they didn't pay/comply with their demands.
 
15 years ive had 2 minor mod spats, 1 in 2021, 1 in 2011
but it happens and you move on. but threatening extortion .

You are new here. There are a lot of things you should not know unless you are a previously banned member:rolleyes:

Talking about scrapping VIP, I think you are too new to qualify for that discussion, since you joined less than a month ago
 
This not the most pleasant news to wake up to on July 4. Quite a bummer.
