Why I think Engagement Groups suck

True, shouts may help, but there are also others here that have paid for and received zilch or crappy results from shouts.

Now, do you know for sure that the likes received were not from the shout account placing said (5k-6k likes per photo) in any Like Rounds? No way of knowing for sure.

Also, beware as there are many selling "high engagement" accounts, yet all they do is Like rounds.

Like rounds, in my opinion, are there for only 1 thing. Help your account get to the top of good quality and relevant hashtag pages. Nothing more. Some may hit Explore page, but unless you have a huge account, it's extremely difficult. Now, when I mention quality hashtags, I don't mean that you'll hit the most popular 1M-100M hashtag pages, if your photos only get 200-2K likes per photo. Won't happen, don't dream about it.
It's like if you're a guy and want to date a model, yet you're overweight and a 2-4 on a scale of 1-10. Won't happen unless you're a great talker and are funny and really get lucky catching her attention, or have lots of money to throw around. Otherwise, it's like shooting for the stars.

Shouts help new accounts get real and active followers. Real followers = Real Likes. So I don't know what are you saying here? and about others... they should've researched a little to see if the accounts they buying shoutouts from is real or not or it's even relevant to their niche or not.

Yes, research as much as you can. But it's almost impossible to know if the traffic a post or account got, was legit?
For example, a female fitness account (buyer) could have bought shouts from a big female fitness account (seller). The seller would place a shout post on their account, yet buy fake followers and/or enter the buyer's account in a like rounds to receive "real" likes, yet none of these are coming from the seller's IG account. Not too many "fitness" Like rounds out there.

Not all sellers do this, but it's almost impossible to find out, unless you catch the seller engaging the other account on Like/Comment rounds.
