It doesnt matter what pinging services you use pinging too many backlinks at once can have a really negative effect because so many links pop up pointing back to your site at the same time then nothing for few days/weeks then loads more pop up next time you ping, its backlinking 101!! All with the same ip too probably.

Ahrefs and other similar tools pick up a tiny number of backlinks. The total number of pages indexed by Ahrefs is much smaller than the total in Google's index. I have seen it take quite a while for ahrefs to pick up backlinks and sometimes the links will never show up in such tools.
As some other folks had confirmed, it takes some time for your backlinks to show up in google.
Also you need to make google aware of your backlinks. Pinging them. metaindex them, make rss feeds using your backlinks, or make a second tier for your backinks. All of this will speed google indexing your links.
