Why do people buy aged Gogle play dev accs(active or not active)?

One of my very old gmail acc which had dev acc and an app related to bet/casino is being enquired by some agencies via email.

They want it.

Dev acc is suspended now cause i didn't filled play console verification cause i basically abandoned the project, not banned or anything. But they still want it and says they have solution for it. I wonder what are the usecases for it and how much usually they go for

Probably they contact with google and re-verify

Yeah but I can verify the dev acc myself. I m just wondering about their intentions and usecases of old dev acc that they want so bad.

What intention? They will just upload 50 spam apps or some malw.are
That way they not leaving any tracks. If app steal some BTC, FBI will knock to you first

Hmm. Thats bad. Guess I will keep it myself
 
Most likely, they will simply restore them through support and download a bunch of phishing apps from that account.
 
Because new acc is need tester now which is not sure pass the app to approve by google
 
Old betting/casino Google Play dev accounts can have value because aged accounts usually have more trust than new ones.

Price depends on age, app history, country, and whether the account was banned or just suspended. Some can sell for a few hundred dollars or more.
 
New google play console account can't publish app diresctly on play store, they goes under mandatory testing periods and strict verification rules,However to bypass these rules people buy old google play console account.

it is active/inactive thats not an issue. even banned old account also have high demand.
