Why can't I verify GMB listings through Email, Phone, etc.

Whenever I go to verify my GMB listings, the only option there is always the damn postcards. They never show up and are hard to get because we are a home service business with no physical address. I have read the other ways of verifying a GMB listing, however, those options are not available to me. My main question is; is there something you can do while creating the listing to have the eligibility to verify through other options, or is the eligibility given out randomly? What are the parameters for being able to verify through a phone call or an email rather than waiting 14 days for a postcard that will never show up. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

Well Google has started video verification for GMB listings if your post card can not arrive in 2 weeks. Just Google it and you will get to know the complete procedure.
