"Why Are There So Many Rules Here?"

I'm completely new to BHW and am trying to figure it out a bit, I nearly posted a tread but have since decided against it (lost confidence). This place is pretty amazing, yet super intimidating and I was wondering if there is any more kind of 'unspoken' rules I could stick to?

Browse around, read the Newbie Guide and you'll get a hang of the place in a week or so. Nothing intimidating really, rules are pretty straightforward, mods are chill if you stick to the rules while engaging on the forum.

We don't deal with "unspoken" rules, we have actual rules, otherwise there won't be any consistency :) Find the newbie guides here and the TOS here. You'll be fine if you follow the rules

There's no need to be intimidated by rules, they are here to protect you me and everyone else. You can post what ever is on your mind, just make sure to post it in the correct section and do not engage in selling your products or services until you are an upgraded member. Cheers and welcome!

Everything in regards to rules is laid out perfectly.
apart from that, just be careful and always keep in mind that this forum is here to help everyone new or experienced alike.

It gives you organisation in a chaotic world, it appeals t my sense of order. If we all know the rules then there can be no "favouritism" and lets be honest, dipping into here can be a bit intimidating for a first timer.

Do we have a glossary on here or a list of acronyms? Some of them are unfathomable to me and even using Google, some are still indecipherable.
 
These rules train your character. I'm not joking. If you want to maintain your account, you'll have to grow up to stay here.
It's like a self-fulfilling business mindset builder cause you got to act like a mature person which isn't possible to fake. You actually have to mature to survive.
 
better like this than other places where people post are only "thank, tx , aaaaapappapap" any reference is purely coincidental XD

As much as we try to improve them, the rules of this forum are not meant to be perfect nor are they airtight by any means.

If, after all of this, you still don't get it, then consider this old proverb: it is a foolish bird that soils its own nest.

The reasons for the rules on here have been explained quite eloquently and in some detail I think, to put it bluntly, most people on here spend much of their time "getting around" rules, that's why we have IP address vendors, Dolphin browsers and all the myriad of tools available to us, to get around the rules. In order to stay coherent on here though, our home on the Internet, we need to have and we need to enforce our own set of "self regulating" rules that govern our own behaviour. Otherwise we wouldn't last very long.

the rules are for our protection..because there are too much scammers all over the world
 
I understand that the rules on Black Hat World are designed to prevent members from exploiting loopholes, even if they might feel restrictive. It’s clear that they are there to maintain order and fairness in the community.

The rules are ok but, atleast a warning before firing will be essential.
This will give some members the opportunity to amend their ways.
