Surely many of you have encountered a situation where advertising looks good, but it only lasts for a few days, if it's high then it's calculated in units of weeks, then the advertising price goes up to the sky. Of course it won't jump much at once, but it will be x1.5 - 5 times over time which is normal.

I firmly believe that up to now, by 2024, only about 30% of advertisers are running conversions, and less than 5% of advertisers know how to apply advertising goals. So the remaining 95% of advertisers are not able to fully exploit the resources that Facebook provides. I call it a general source, but I don't know how to describe it specifically so you can easily visualize and understand!

So what does the first idea above have to do with the second idea? Basically, reading it doesn't say it has anything to do with each other, but in another aspect, it's 99% related. Why is that possible? It's easiest to imagine, most of you used to run Messages, every few days it was cheap, then the next day it was expensive! Have you ever wondered what the cause is???

Suppose your potential customer file is 10 million people, you set up a Messages campaign with the goal of reaching 10 million people as it displays on Facebook. That's the theory, but in reality you can only reach about 500k return maximum! It's rarer to just target Messages. Why is that possible? File 10 million reach 500K turns around.

Imagine it like this to make it easier to understand, in the file of 10 million people there will be different user behaviors, FB will divide users according to each person's behavior, interests, and demographics to classify. There will be people:

Article interaction

Message the page

Your total file will definitely be 10 million people, but within those 10 million people, Facebook has clearly divided it into groups! Taking the example above, our Messages customer file is estimated to only reach 500K and it will turn around! So when we go to Ads Messages, it will be sweet at first, but gradually, the file will be reached many times and will generate high CPM -> Ads Max. Not to mention that during the reach process, we impact the camp, the article will also reset the distribution streams from the beginning!

That's for Messages ads, what about other formats? Still the same, only target an audience that best matches your current advertising goals. Each goal will be a different distribution stream, of course there will be duplicate audiences but the ratio will be small! Having said this, surely you will understand to some extent the reasons why advertising is increasing more and more and how to optimize it effectively! The above is 30% of the experience that I share with you, to say it all is impossible to describe in one article!

The best way I’ve heard it explained is: 50% of advertising spend is “wasted” you just don’t know which 50% it will be.How much are you spending ?
