Whitehat - hide text

Hi.
I have webshop based in Sweden/Norway/Denmark. (Google is THE SE here)

I am thinking about hiding our text on the category pages in order to get more room on the page (I am implementing responsive design) using Javascript.
I am thinking that I want to have a link that says FAQ about [category] and have all the text pop up on the page when clicking.

HOWEVER

will I get punished from Google doing this?

Use CSS. It will not hurt your SEO

This is exactly what cause no harm to SEO.
