Hi,
I'd like to inquire about which translation service to use as I'm not familiar with translators (only used google translator sporadically), and I need to go the translation route for my content writing.
Like I said, I did use google translate before, but only once in a blue moon and for isolated words or phrases, but translating 1500+ words of content in one go is harder because there's a 5000 character limit (which means I have to split an article into 2-5 separate pieces before I pull the finished article together again.) And while this is not an issue for doing it once or twice a day it becomes an issue when you have 10s of article to post each day. Besides, this is google and since these fuckers track and record anything to wank over in their intimacy I'd rather not use their services anymore.
So off I went to Bing then as I recalled someone mentioning many moons ago how Bing have a translator, too. And lo and behold, Bing's translator only allows 500 characters for each piece of content, which means that I might as well get married, have 10 kids and will have aged 40-50 years before Bing had translated 100 articles
And then there's DeepL which I was actually very excited about using and which I was secretly considering my best weapon but then I went to their homepage and noticed that high volume translations like I intend to do cost money. Well, fuck that! I mean, I wouldn't mind paying them $1-2 per month for 100 articles of 5000 words each, but those fuckers want at least 9 EUROS per month for 5 documents. No, thanks!
So here I am, asking for your valuable insights into what the best options are for my needs, paid or free, I don't mind hearing all of your recommendations. If the price is based on common sense I'm OK paying, but if they're asking for $10 for a 1000 word translation I'd rather not even know about that "service".
