I use Wordpress because it's easy to customize and theme for clients who need blogs. However, Wordpress can do so much more than just blog which makes the code bloated. I really wish there was Skinny Wordpress for people who just need bogging and SEO functionality.

IMHO, Wordpress is the best one due to its simplicity and usability.

Wordpress for new, low traffic sites.
if your traffic rises to something like 100k visitors per month, either you use wordpress and pay for a dedicated server,
or use a custom light weight CMS and save on hosting (a VPS will do it)

I would have to say Wordpress. I don't have a ton of experience with other CMS but I know that from knowing absolutely nothing about building websites, in less than a year I was able to put together some sites that looked pretty nice (obviously biased here). If anything, I would probably be more critical of my own work though, so Wordpress definitely has helped me speed up the learning curve for designing cool looking websites.

Wordpress : Best Platform but lil bit difficult to use for newbie having no knowledge of webhosting and all ( like me ) and one more reason they provide best themes.
Blogging : good easy to use but there are storage limit, So a BIG NO.
Others : Never tried

Most of the hosts that you'll be using would recommend Wordpress. I'm using it for my sites and it's super easy to set-up. Even when I was starting out it didn't take to long for me to get the hang of it. I'm using it for translated sites and for my article writing sites. Really easy to get themes and templates for too. Lot's of the templates are even freely available in BHW, even the paid ones.
