Wordpress.
Joomla is a pain. I used it from waaaay back in the day when it was Mambo, through the transition to Joomla.
Wordpress used to be a bother for anything other than blog/news sites, but certainly since 2.9/3.x, it is the best goto CMS for 99% of the sites out there.
Much easier to SEO, much easier to theme, and now much easier to expand with custom content types and so forth.
Drupal used to be great, but then they decided to go all enterprise on us. *sigh*

We use Blogger with a custom domain and it is super-easy to manage. The posts get indexed quickly and rank well for their intended keywords. It is also very easy to integrate with Goolge+ and to establish G+ authorship which is great for SEO.
Wordpress would be a better option if you don't want a stand alone blog, but would prefer to add it as a subdirectory of your website (i.e. mywebsite.com/blog) which is a best practice for SEO as well.
The 2 options depend on how you want to set up your blog and how you want it to look. Hope this is helpful!

Ford has a tens of millions people driving their cars. Why anything else?.... Because it just doesnt work. Wordpress isn't running google. It's not running bing. It's not running microsoft, zynga, twitter, webhostingtalk, curse. You go with what is best for the project, not what everyone else goes with.
@OP: There is no general best. The best is dependent on your needs and situation. For ease of use, Wordpress is at the top and almost all the design pros agree. Its clean, responsive and well organized. Not to mention the plugins are easily added/removed without needing to edit source. For SEO, there is no best. I could give you a website using wordpress that does nothing right for SEO and another that does everything right. I could do the same in Joomla, Drupal, Xcart, Opencart, Zencart, Yii, Codeigniter... SEO is based on HTML and all of them output it. If you need visual help with things such as frequency, interspersion, weighting and other content helpers then Wordpress has some decent free plugins for that. If you dont, any platform will work.

Wordpress is the best platform... U can easily gets cache in google by using wordpress since they provides tons of plugin for cache in google...My vote to Wordpress............................

wordpress is a very formidable platform. it can be used so many different ways from a blog to arcade to a tube site. but what it all comes down to is what is comfortable for the user.
