I've been using Hostwinds for just under a year now I think, and they are brilliant, imo.

Try BlueHost or HostNine. Depends a lot from the activity you want to do on your web space.
If are simple blog with little activity and little traffic you can use cheapest services (monitoring always the uptime).
 
For a Good Experience, Speedy Server, Cheapest Plans, Fast Processing. I will only suggest Hostgator to you.
 
Are you looking for website hosting?

HostWinds is a really good solution. You can get a server for pretty cheap and have your websites setup in a short amount of time.

Amazon is also really good, but you pay for what you use so if you don't know what you're doing and calculate the cost wrong, you could pay allot more than you intended. However, if you're planning on scaling fast and seamlessly, there is nothing that can compete with Amazon.
 
I'm using Hostwinds and it's been a good experience so far. I love their live chat support.
 
I have been doing some research for a new project and the overall view is that Hostwinds rocks. Their owner is here and seems quite helpful. Some people talk great things about Stablehost too. They both are reasonably priced though. Arvixe in general has a shit reputation here and on webhostingtalk as well. Problem being their offshore customer service. For my small projects i have been using mjzhosting.com for many years now. It's a very mom and pop type operation but it costs merely 19$ a year. Haven't had much problems with them. good luck !
 
hostwinds have been great for me always there to solve anything quickly
