I personally prefer godaddy due to their customer support and their cheap price in my country

Stablehost, I am hearing this new, anyone here used this service before?

I have been using Stablehost for a year. It is really good with SSD and LiteSpeed. Their supports are good, too.
They promote 75% OFF coupon code sometimes in a year.

Godaddy sucks. They disable plenty of Wordpress plugins and their supports are really bad.

These are my experience using them:
+ NameCheap & Godaddy => Domain Registration as a registrar -> YES and NO as hosting provider.
+ iPage => Slow server as hell -> NO
+ Hostgator => sold, quality become worse day by day => NO
+ Bluehost, Justhost, Fatcow => Similar quality with unstable service sometimes good, sometimes not => TAKE YOUR RISK
HawkHost, Stablehost and Site5 would be fine.

1) Godaddy are only good for domains, not very good hosting plans... I know some one who is always in pain with godaddy.
2) Hostgator used to be one of the best shared hosting, I used them for several years but now not good...
After hostgator I started using dedicated and I am happy... It's costly but my sites are always up. Recently I bought one shared hosting account from ipage which was super cheap.
2 years hosting for just $40, got one free domain and worth several hundred $$ in credit for facebook ($50), google($100) and bing ads ($100 i guess) and few more benefits...
Overall free because I already used credit LOL...
