which is the best hosting?

If you are just started, don't go with Hostgator and 1and1. They are terrible these days. I am with Hostgator for a few years before (when they are still giving the best services) and I have no complain. But lately they are asking for documentation for registering which I dont like at all. Waiting for the verification process is like hell.

1and1 is dirt cheap. But you will always experience 505 error. This error will never go away. You can override it once in a while and the error will persist again

You can go for Hostgator. Its one of the best hosting service providers.

I used Hostgator for over 5 years and a couple of months ago I moved as they become terrible, Many of my sites were offline for long periods. they put cashing plugins etc and disabled some functions of my low traffic sites. In the end it was so bad most of my websites were off line or hijacked by them. They used to be good but when they were brought out by the new owners who also own many other hosting companies now, they become terrible. If you read back through this thread you will see evidence of this as some members have said Hostgator are terrible now so I'm not the only one. In fact they are the joke of the hosting industry these days.

I currently use Shinjiru for my hosting, support is fantastic if needed.
Cheap plans available too.

Cheers

I have been using 000webhost for quite a long time and I am overall happy with them.
But, the pricing for vps and dedicated servers are so good nowadays that I just prefer them if it's something heavy.
For about 12$/month you can't go wrong with a dedicated server.

i'm searching for a hosting, i just read dozen of page here and still don't have a clue where to go :|

Hey man,,,

If you can manage simple VPS and have linux skills,,,,Digital Ocean is best in that case...best server speed and starting from just 5$ a month...
And if u need managed service or shared service I would say inmotionhosting's ssd are great and after that Hostnine is also best..
