Get your domain from Godaddy for 99 cents. Google for the coupon

Google search "Free CPanel Web host" There are 3 or 4 of them at least.

You can create and sell organic growth (no bots) instagram accounts to raise funds. You can always sell them on EBay

You can also visit bitcoin faucets to raise a few bucks

You can also create a good story to start a business in your country and put up a GoFundMe for it.

That was a good link but did not include namecheap. They recently raised their prices substantially for their shared hosting so was wondering if it is worth it to renew with them.

While the link recommends siteground, it is pretty costly considering that their basic plan can host only 1 website.

Namecheap costs about the same post their price hike but allows hosting of 3 sites. Seems like Greengreeks maybe worth a shot.

Any recommendations?

I would Suggest 1&1 Hosting. You will get year hosting for 12$ and a free domain with SSL and email account.

Think of signing up for this for some of my sites. Any feedback on why they work like a boss? It isn't exactly cheap as compared to vultr VPS?

AWS EC2 instance with Wordpress, a free tier machine will run WordPress with no problems (as long as you are not throwing huge amounts of traffic at it...)

All you need then is a cheap domain name and direct it to your EC2 public IP address...
