Porkbun.com has the cheapest .com renewal of all time.

€7.63 Around 8-9 dollars.

There is no other cheaper than godaddy. Don't buy domain in 1and1 you will regret in the end.

Yup, they were holding my domain hostage, when my first payment wasn't accepted for some reason , then when I reached them to update into a new payment method and fix it, they suddenly asked me to pay full price and didn't want to give me the discounted price.

They are very shady in my opinion.
