Hello everyone,

I've been freelancing since 2019, primarily on Upwork, where I've made around $120k working on various small to medium-sized projects. However, lately, I've noticed a significant drop in the availability of quality projects due to intense competition and lower rates.

I specialize in building complete solutions from scratch to deployment in any front-end or back-end language. However, my core expertise lies in Angular for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end.

I'm now looking to diversify and find better platforms or avenues to connect with clients who need these kinds of services. Any suggestions for places to find clients for small to medium projects? Whether it's platforms, forums, communities, or other methods, I'd love to hear what’s worked for you.

Thanks

Upwork is and always will be a race to the bottom.

For my website development agency I had a lot of success joining local business groups and offering a free website quote. Few other methods as well like emailing all the members.

I´d say upgrade your account here and open a Marketplace thread, there are about 100.000 active members here according to staff, and I know members here that makes good money in your niche.

Go look for it on Guru. There are many projects there.

Maybe you can check out the Facebook group. There are a lot of companies doing small and medium-sized projects there.

Maybe you can ask for referrals from past clients, they have a lot of connections to tap into.
