I was asked, "Where or how do I start as a blogger?"
The answer is your question itself. Let me help you figure it out.
First off, why do people search on search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing? We search online because we have questions that need answers.
Why don't you start off the bat by writing the answer or answers to frequently asked questions in your chosen niche?
Identify an ultra-specific niche.
Being a "blogger" is not an ultra-specific niche. Break it down. Are you a blogger in the fashion niche? If your answer is affirmative, break it down further. Are you a blogger about clothing styles in New York? If you said yes, then, that's your ultra-specific niche. You've identified a specific branch of the fashion space and your geographic target.
Now that you've identified your ultra-specific niche, it's time to identify the frequently asked questions of the people within that circle. What are their hows, whens, wheres, and whys?
Write how-to articles that revolve around your ultra-specific niche. Get inside the minds of your target readers by writing your title in an interrogative format. Then, answer that question in the body of your article. Break the ideas down by using bullet points or numbered lists. Don't try to rebuild the Great Wall of China in your writing by writing thick walls of paragraphs. Then, end your article with a question or two to engage your readers in the conversation.
