Hello,

I started an Amazon niche website (info articles + product reviews) about 5 months ago in a fairly low competitive niche (according to KWfinder).

I'm doing everything white hat and according Google's to best practices. The only thing I haven't worked on yet are backlinks (I do have social channels were I post new content, but there's no real engagement).

I publish articles (1000 words on average for info articles and 2.400 words on average for review articles) once per week. So far I have 18 info articles and 6 product reviews with about 31.000 words in total.

However, I'm still getting only about 1-5 visits per day (organic + social). Is this normal? What should I do to speed up things?

Thanks.

To speed things up, you should start building backlinks. You won't rank anything without backlinks nowadays. If you want, you can keep it up this white hat way, but don't expect to make any decent money for the next few years.

was going to say , white hat takes so long that most just give up.

google seach engine know that all websites are money orentated in some way , so the process of any white hat website takes so long to get even indexed .

the compitition very heigh .

even school teach marketing these days as you can imagine the millions of websites indexed .

i say learn blackhat ststergys it part of wite hat, just gives faster results .

Are you sure your articles are really helpful to viewers?
Do you have more followers on your website in social accounts?
Use valuable contents about recent updates of your niche product. This will help viewers visit your site.

Start guest posting on high authority sites, that will fetch you more visitors to your site.

Good to know. Yeah, backlinks are next on my to-do. I've read all about it on Backlinko, Authority Hacker and similar websites.

For sure, it's easy to get discouraged!

I always outdo the original articles, both in length, multimedia and quality. I have a really good writer from Canada, who makes every single article a joy to read. He adds some personality to them. I do all the research and mention research papers and link out to high authority websites.

If you dont want to build backlinks, you should probably start posting on niche forums and social networks to get traffic.

I got my best traffic from question and answer sites. I also answered the hell out of the questions.
