What do you guys do for the best onpage SEO optimization? I use SEO Pressor to do my posts, I change my permalinks structure, add a image with ALT to each post, and install AIO plugin and modify it. That's about it.

Anything else I am missing?

I'd say that the most important thing to rank is the template. It appears that a page menu and a category menu below is great for ranking.

I'd used a template made with artisteer for 1 year and i rank pretty badly now i've used a wootheme for few months and my ranking is great. I even got the link under your main page in google 2 days ago...

How would you go about ranking the template? First time I hear this.

I meant the template implies most of the time a structure of the website. Some of them use a better internal netlinking and that is the matter i was referring to ;)

But most of the stuff is online you can find it. But the issue is that there is even more duplicate information with spun language that will drive you in sane. Golden rule says, read, learn, use and analyse, you will develop yourself. :)

How many "secrets" could there be? Most of them are mentioned in one Ebook than another.

I rarely use any specific seo plugin, but I do use a lot of time to optimize the template. Most templates are not SEO optimized, so you need to correct the errors that the programmer has made.

If you don't modify the template code, then will you have a harder time to rank well, due to bad onsite SEO.

What's the best way to SEO optimize themes?

How many "secrets" could their be? There are over 440 variables in the current Google algorithm, each with its own weighting specifications, my guess is there could be quite a few. You can't optimize a template although you can optimize your overall structure. Any information you may read online will likely be bull, those who know do, those who can't teach (this is turbo true in SEO).
