What's your opinion on NextJS blogs?

I've been recently learning how to make a shopify APP and ran into NextJS. I was really impressed not only by the website templates they provide, but also on how fast everything loads on the browser. Their web store took 1.5s to fully load on google speed, while most shopify page take 7 seconds+

I'm thinking about using it for blogging and maybe in the future for my eCommerce store theme.

So basically my first impression is that Next is perfect.

Do you guys have any opinion it, am I missing something?

Totally agree with you on this, since I am just using Next.js for my blogging platform. Their speed is insanely fast, it's really amazing and I think this framework can allow us to have great SEO performances and to rank really high in the search results, which is also one of its biggest features.

What are you using for the backend for the Nextjs ecommerce store ? Shopify ?

And what will the blog backend CMS be ?

NextJS has SSR. So it is as seo friendly as plain html.

Yepp, nextJS is the future. I am in love with this shit for a while. Go for it by all means.

A year late to this and something I'm trying to delve into.

The problem I seem with a front end library such as react is that it does t have "pages" it renders the components.

And next js does serverside rendering which makes it fast and does kiiiinda use pages by pre rendering pages with static props... And this also makes it suuuuuper speedy. BUT I would assume you would still need some static pages to be crawled? Maybe by using something like Gatsby as well. I'm extremely interested in this... Making a next app is soooo much easier than WordPress imo... If you know web development.. never have to deal with plugins... Full control over every little detail of you need

Does Next js benefit SEO?
