What's your motivation? :)

I will take this opportunity to tell u a true story that happened to me yesterday and today, it really has much to do with this thread.

Last night, I didn't feel well, so I went to the doctor, apparently I dried up from all the computer stuff and not drinking enough water and smoking like mad, got the normal infusion thing ( it's called infusia here, don't how in english). Anyway, I also had some pain in my head, it was probably to do with the drying up but the doctor thought it was an infection, maybe it was, maybe not, still not sure, anyways he gave me 1000mg penitzilin, i took it after i got home and ate, and within 10 minutes my entire body was full of rash , i couldn't breath since my throat swelled up like mad, and other ear/nose stuff , was very scarry, very quickly got to the doc again(luckily it is close) and he ordered ambulance, gave me steroids and adrenalin to stop the alergic reaction to the penitzilin.

anyways, to sum the medical side up, my body is weak, he gave me lots of strong stuff which wasn't even sure i needed, and from now on i am alergic to this shit, and the alergic reaction isn't fun. People do die from this stuff, luckily everything happened just right in sense of timing and I do only have no to look back at the occasion and wonder, can my motivation kill me? (read my previous post for my motivation)

It is important to drive through life towards your goal but it is just as important not to let your goal control your life. I fell in love with im and seo 2 years ago, and with all the information you just start digging and digging and getting shoved in more and more, an average day these days is 10-14 hrs on computer with coke and smokes constantly next to me and an occasional break to watch some show on the computer screen. I will be the first one to say 'go for your goals and never let go' and stuff like that, i really believe it and now im just thinking and wondering how to get the balance right coz running like a mad man all the time might not be the right way. It did get me through the beginning part and I do have some income on a monthly basis now but still not enough to free me completely for day job.

Ok, thats what I wanted to share, thnx for reading u guys and I'd love to hear ur opinions about this.

Is it your motivation or is it your bad habits (smoking, drinking soda etc) that's effecting your health?

Ever thought of replacing soda with green tea or water and instead of watching a movie once in awhile going for a jog or walk?

Some of my best ideas have come to me when I've been working out. Plus, it's great stress relief and I have more mental clarity to get shit done.

you're absolutely right, this was yesterdays lesson, it was just so fresh in my mind and i thought this might be a lesson or maybe not but still, i put it out there.

as for what you said, i have a goal of quitting smoking very soon - reading the alen carr book atm , if it wont work i will pay someone for treatment, smoking might be the worst disease out there.

as for coke, i will start swapping it with water and eventually i hope to reach the green stuff, but really water is probably the best way to go

and yeah, thanks for caring, you're absolutely right, its not motivation, rather then the over drive i have to reach my goal and i dont care about my bad habits while at it, the thought of getting to my goal and then taking care of myself is the real problem and it is in my mind 100%

I wanna be the very best
Like no-one ever was.

Scratch that, poor fag from a family of 5 immigrants here. And I still have a sister back in my home country. College fee is a biatch to non-residents, and these past 6 months of running around begging for foodstamps and medical insurance have killed my self-esteem. Before moving to the USA I was a carefree lad, now all I think about is making money while struggling with my poor English. All because I couldn't stand the attitudes of the ladies in the financial aid office in my college.

TLDR: Earn enough money for me to not be worried about money. I want to be carefree once again.

More freedom. And the time to stand up whenever I want, to eat a ton of unhealthy food, rich in fat and sugar, to do heavy squats on the beach and go back inside afterwards to watch the mycelium grow.

my motivation is my mother... she is making my life a nightmare... my motivation is to move out asap... but unfortunately so much apartaments are to expensive here where I live... i live at home with my mother and dad here and she attacks me every single day with "go find a job!", "go out and workout.. you are fat... ", "you havent washed for hours", "why you dont want to eat with us?", "you are worthless" and many more...

soon, i will be free. and my life will start.
so, this is my motivation. :( my mother... or let say freedom.

A secure future of my children and theirs...
I want them to be a helpful person to the society. This is only possible if they study in good schools.
They should serve the humanity as much as they can :)

I wish to be able to live under a palm tree with my laptop and make enough money to buy food & drinks..

travel around the world with my laptop and earn money with 4 hrs/day
