To be honest, you really need to prepare these documents because if I'm not wrong the reason you got asked to verify your address is not because of the transaction you did, but because you reached the treshhold at which PP asks for these documents.

I don't know the exact number, but for EU is between 1800-2500$. Once your account has received that amount in under an year(or total can't remember) you get asked for these.

Paypal will send you a seperate email for that.
PayPals backend security system most-likely flagged your account as suspicious and limited it.
You can either wait 180 days and contact PayPal to move funds to a family member's account or verify your account to get rid of the limitation.
There is no other way, you must submit these documents in order to continue using your account.
