Maybe the new Joomla with their T4 page builder is far beyond WP, but the setup is little bit complicated like Drupal.
Yes Wordpress is easy to use for most of us.
But the devil is in detail;
think why big sites or media newspapers not using the free version of WP, they using the VIP version or other expensive cms , these cms systems can work without any plugins (I do not know how they doing this) with the free WP version you can not work without plugins ( I think so...?)
Then second, there are enough exypensive cms systems out there like Microsoft SiteCore very expensive, so think about it why there is demand on such expensive cms? Why companies with money using them and not the free WP version?
Not call me an conspiracy theorist, but when there is a buyer market for these expensive cms systems there must be a reason why enough big companies, big sites and media newspapers using it? What do you think ?
That they have better scalability , or more easy to use or working without plugins? What do you think? Or do they have better seo (better more clean code) ? Look at the site of B. Gates he is using his own cms= SiteCore, check the view source of his site then compare that with your normal free cms WP version site= do you not see a huge difference there?
For me it looks Drupal is more stable and has better code of theme and plugins it is more a closing system similar with joomla.
But it's not funny to work with Drupal 10 and gutenberg since you not get any premade blocks, /patterns in Drupal.
The Joomla free T4 version has enough premade templates and blocks (what I have read on their website)
Maybe I give it a try, but the upset, configuration, permission, administrator, then setup your menu with pages is little bit horrendous like Drupal and the free seo modules have a little bit too much nested fields...not very clear userfriendly.
What would be next, free Slack, Dotnetnuke, Impresspages ......???
None of the free cms systems out there have such a clean code like the big expensive systems like SiteCore or others...
