What's better than Wordpress?

Wordpress is the fastest, easiest to use, most customizable CMS released.

It's widely used & there's a plugin for nearly any feature that you could want a blog/website to have.
I would not say it's the fastest. There's static site CMS scripts that most likely will be faster than Wordpress.

But I agree with everything else and use Wordpress myself for pretty much all my sites.

True, perhaps, but unless you just need a static landing page or something that doesn't require too much functionality, WP still outplays that in my book.

I truly believe WP has really good features since you can add many pluggins but if you are looking for something different then Wix is another really good option.

Headless CMSs are the ones leading the market now.
wordpress and those CMSs are getting old
the best way to work with a CMS is just getting an API and have the freedom in the front end design and structure
Example of headless CMS : Strapi

The best content management system depends on your specific needs and preferences. However, Wordpress is a popular choice for many website owners because it is easy to use, has a large user community and offers a wide range of features. I think there is none better than WP when is comes to ease of use.

I agree wordpress is the best... Blogging and shop in one stop. and fully customizable... Yes I highly recommend you stay or discover more on wordpress.

what about ghosts? is the quality equivalent to wp
? has anyone ever tried?

this open source cms call wordpress is the biggest cms platform with huge community support
tons of plugin to help build a website that does no longer require a lot of technical knowledge
and it help cut a cost by huge margin comparing to making a fully functional website
start from scratch ..

is there any cms that come close to wordpress?
when it comes to SEO functionally, WordPress is the best CMS because of tons of plugins for all kinds of needs. If you wish you can try Magento, Joomla etc.

Wordpress at its best. If we talk about other sites, it could be wix. Easy to use. Maybe Weebly, Blogger

WordPress is the fastest and secured CMS. Aparr from WordPress why don't you got try with Wix, Weebly and Squarespace.
Instead Wix is also easiest too as WordPress but no one is there to replace WordPress

Next.js, Hugo or any other Jamstack for frontend, and any CMS+api for backend (including wp itself... but I prefer Yii2, Strapi to name a few.. because wp is a security hell and a hotchpotch for big projects). Yes it also works for blogs, or other sites like ecommerce sites where data is constantly changing. You just have to choose the correct caching mechanism (for example next.js has swr for constantly changing data).

WordPress is by far the best for sites. When it comes to e-commerce I would go with Magento, especially if the eshop has more than 3.000 products.

Maybe the new Joomla with their T4 page builder is far beyond WP, but the setup is little bit complicated like Drupal.
Yes Wordpress is easy to use for most of us.

But the devil is in detail;

think why big sites or media newspapers not using the free version of WP, they using the VIP version or other expensive cms , these cms systems can work without any plugins (I do not know how they doing this) with the free WP version you can not work without plugins ( I think so...?)

Then second, there are enough exypensive cms systems out there like Microsoft SiteCore very expensive, so think about it why there is demand on such expensive cms? Why companies with money using them and not the free WP version?

Not call me an conspiracy theorist, but when there is a buyer market for these expensive cms systems there must be a reason why enough big companies, big sites and media newspapers using it? What do you think ?

That they have better scalability , or more easy to use or working without plugins? What do you think? Or do they have better seo (better more clean code) ? Look at the site of B. Gates he is using his own cms= SiteCore, check the view source of his site then compare that with your normal free cms WP version site= do you not see a huge difference there?

For me it looks Drupal is more stable and has better code of theme and plugins it is more a closing system similar with joomla.
But it's not funny to work with Drupal 10 and gutenberg since you not get any premade blocks, /patterns in Drupal.

The Joomla free T4 version has enough premade templates and blocks (what I have read on their website)
Maybe I give it a try, but the upset, configuration, permission, administrator, then setup your menu with pages is little bit horrendous like Drupal and the free seo modules have a little bit too much nested fields...not very clear userfriendly.

What would be next, free Slack, Dotnetnuke, Impresspages ......???
None of the free cms systems out there have such a clean code like the big expensive systems like SiteCore or others...

Try Weebly which is better than WordPress also it is the best for beginners.

Yes, there are several other popular CMS platforms available, such as Joomla, Drupal, and Magento. Each of these offer their own unique features and advantages, so it's worth exploring all of them to decide which is best for your needs.
