What's better increase post in FB or AdWords ?

My blog already earn some money.want to invest this money + a few dollars from my pocket in link building to increase the traffic.
Have to choose between increase post for 5 $ (1000-2000) visits on my FB page
Or simple AdWords ?
I'm open to any sugestion

What is the purpose of increasing traffic?
You do CPA/CPM or anything else?

Cost per visit between 800-2000 fb page visits for 5 $ .Think have a chance if they visit the fb page they will visit my blog.
Want to get the maximum for 1$ per day( know that is small budget)
