Hello guys!
Hope y'all doing good?
Just a little question

SO, i have a website i ranked by doing several 301s to the same domain. After some point, it started losing rankings and i guess that was a sign of a visit from google.
I started a new website in the same niche and i want to transfer a little of the seo value to the new site.

i should have done a 301 from the old domain to the new but from some research i found out big G doesn't like 301 to 301. SOme domains are already redirected to old site; so, redirecting it to the new one may be of more harm than good i think.

I though of placing a homepage or sidebar link in old domain. Please is this the best choice or should i do in-article or is there some other way?

I await the best replies. Thanks guys

At least now you learned your lesson there. Don't do it again.

Contextual link is the best way to go.

can i send a pm please?
i bought some contextual links here on bhw which turned out to be absolute crap. The seller was called out a while ago.
I have built almost all the links you have been sharing as well.
