I have a legit request. I am the Country (my country) President of an Alumni Association for a US University. I am looking to setup a facebook page for the Alumni Association, and need your help.
I presume I need to set up either a group or a fan page through my personal facebook account?
Can anyone guide me on which one (group, page or other) would best suit my needs?
I am looking to use the page to update alumni on local initiatives, create a platform for alumni to know each other (e.g. wall posts), and also provide assistance to international alumni who are visiting the country.
I would like to set it up so that I can assign a username if possible, so it is easy to share the link with others to sign up.
