what type of a backlink is this? and how do i create it

Hi theres a site was chekcing on ahrefs

it has a backlink from the following website which is like a non profit site.
wizathon.com/goodgrief5k/

The link on ahrefs says that its an image backlink, when i go to the source url of the backlink , i cant find the actual backlink

anyone knows about this? and how can i create a similar backlink

if yu go through the url you won't c the link..but the page source shows it..

Actually, you simply missed the link.
The link DOES show up on the front page, as well as the source...which is how I found it's location on the page.

If you wait until their 'thank you' slider slides past on the front page, eventually a logo will show up that has their link.
It's an image link on their scroller.
The image says 'Top race in new jersey' and looks sort of like a trophy.

If you want a link like this, you'd have to talk them into putting it on there for you.

Yes. I agree, it does seem sponsored and/or intentionally linked.
Almost like they hid it that way on purpose. lmao.
Because none of the other ones there have links, just the very last image.

Although as far as I know, image links don't affect serps as much as contexual links do.
