What to do with 2 old youtube accounts.

Right so this isn't really a serious thread more just a bit of fun,
back in my early days of IM i was trying everything at the same time and failing in it all, now a few years down the line im making good money on and off line sticking with a couple good projects.

Out of curiosity I checked out some of my old accounts to see if i could do anything with them as a side project, nothing too serious.

I have 2 youtube accounts both very different, After putting approx 5 hours work into each 3/4 years ago and forgeting about them they have both grown a little.

account no.1 has 800 subscribers around 50 videos 450K views total around 80 % U.S traffic
account no.2 has 860 subscribers 2 videos and 1.1M views. 86% of traffic from south korea

both are around the music niche and both accounts are in good standing but i can't monitise the current videos because of copyrighted content.

What im wondering is what to do with them, it seems a shame to just leave them if there is some potential but iv'e never had much luck with youtube and it isn't somthing im making money with currently.

Any ideas would be apreciated if they get banned so be it this is just to kill some time and maybe make some pennys.

Give them away (to me ofcourse )

If someone wants something it is because they see a value in it. So atleast now i know they are not totally worthless haha

Everything in the internet has a value. The challenge is how do you value them.

Honestly Im not really interested in selling. I dont need the money, This thread is just because im curious to see what is possible with a couple of old accounts, and it seems a shame to just have them sitting there doing nothing. And potentially what i learn from doing it will have far greater value then what the accounts are currently worth. Thanks for the offer though

Yeah chears bud i probably should have said at the start this is in noway a for sale thread, Asmuch as i appreciate people trying to give me money, p.ms offering to buy my accounts wont get a reply. I could sell these accounts now for a few $$'s and that would be the end or I could learn something new that will teach me how to make $$'s every month. Knowledge is always more valuble.

Simply I merge it with my new account. And one thing came to know all that old is always a precious one than new thing in internet point of view.

Like wise I respect the old account and I try to merge it for good revenue.

You can try to put some cloaked CPA or affiliate links in the video descriptions and you can also try to upload a few new videos to reignite some interest. The million and a half views that you didn't monetize could have made you a few bucks.

I hear that, I'm always looking back at missed oppertunities, which brings us to rule number one of being succssesful in life - Take action -
as for the c.p.a offers ive played with a few different offers which hasn't been amazing.
I am looking at uploading some new vids and see how that goes as im getting a steady stream of 2-3 new subs on each channel daily and thats without touching them in over 3 years.
only issue is one channel is heavily branded towards music something which i don't currently have any original content for and the other is over 80% north korean views which is a culture i know nothing about.

Well, you should give monetization a shot and if it brings even a little on autopilot, it will still be something to use for other projects. You should search for Korean offers on and give some a shot, they can even be just mainstream, you don't need to stick 100% with the music niche with the offers - the conversion rate will suffer, but it might still make you a few dollars.

Most of the comments on the videos are requesting a link to download the music so I'm thinking of either, linking to a content locker, not sure if this is still any good?, like I said I've not really tried with youtube in years so not sure what converts well. Or putting some amazon links in the description.

Apologies if I come across as a massive newb. youtube is something I know very little about but I'm lucky enough to be in a position now where I can spend more time learning something new and less time working just to pay the bills. Some of that is down to methods I've learnt from bhw so I am working on a way to give back at some point

if you think it has a good active subscriber bas, then you can sell it off and are a little cash with it.
