What to do against negative SEO?

Morning to all :)!


Since a few weeks I am getting bad backlinks in my link profile. Probably a competitor. Some examples:
  • hotasiangirls.pro
  • sakda.info
  • chaisai.info
Most of the domains are .info and 404. After noticed I immediately disavow those links.

How much will this affect my rankings and what can I do about it?

Just disavow them. Since you don't know how did this there is nothing else you can do to protect yourself. Google's algorithm is not stupid and can easily recognize Neg. SEO anyway. Links from websites like this or also dirty anchors are very typical for negative SEO.

In my opinion there is nothing you have to worry about. Have a nice weekend too.

^This. If your ranking is not hurt you even don't need to disavow them. Google is way better now with detecting such links and ignoring them.

Thanks for your reply! It is very appreciated!
I lost ranking for some keywords :(, so that's why I disavowed them. The problem is that every week new bad links are dripping in. I'll keep working on good backlinks for my website and hopefully everything will be back in balance soon.
 
I agree with the disavow replies.

Perhaps also consider redirecting based on referrer. You could somehow use their energy for your own purposes. If you go this route, I would be curious of your implementation and results.
 
Disavowing is not necessary as G does it all for you now. Johnny boy said it himself.

they won't affect you so don't worry. I have about 60 links at one site from this type of stuff and it actually boosted me up lmao.
 
What is more interesting is the fact they are cloaking there sites... cache:hotasiangirls.pro gives you what G is seeing.

People do this crap all the time unfortunately. Around this time last year I got hit by exactly what you're describing - I'd guess these crappy links also have highly optimized anchor text. I just disavowed the links and nothing ever really happened. Be thankful that you're on the receiving end of one of the less potent forms of negative seo.
 
My personal opinion, just ignore it. Those links are very hard to get indexed even with good indexer. You can quickly go through them and see if Google are picking any of those up.

I personally have never had any issue with being links blasted, that is no longer an effective method to Neg SEO anymore.

i also got the same attack, more than 100 domains hotasiangirls, sakda, etc. btw any update about your traffic after disavow the links?
 
Agree with the previous replies. Use the Disavow tool fr dealing with the problem. I would like to provide you some more precaution points as below -

1. Please make sure to setup the email alert for the Google Webmaster so you will get notification on every activity like website attack, non-indexing of the web-pages etc.
2. Make sure to keep the record of your backlink profile and also make sure to use your personal email address while creating the backlink profile because Gmail, Yahoo can be hacked easily.
3. Always take the security checks against the malware, hackers.
4. If you will find the negative links then make the list of those backlinks and remove them as soon as possible.
