What software/programs do you use to protect your computer?

Windows Defender works fine for me. Installed ccleaner too.

I run Linux on all my PCs, but when I used Windows I never installed AV I would just run Malwarebytes and Super Antispyware once a week and it worked great. If you are careful and use common sense there is no need to have an AV program running all the time, periodic scans are fine.

Smadav ... simple, free, no resource use, ver small in size

When running Windows:
Malwarebytes pro, Windows Defender, and Host Block.

When browsing on Windows: Ublock Origin, WebRTC, Privacy Settings, Javascript Toggle, Right Click Enable, Profile Spoofing, Switch Masking Agent, an Privacy Badger.

If you can't tell, I consider ads to be more of a malware vector than I do virus.

- Ad-Aware Antivirus - nope
- Malware Bytes Anti-malware - tick
- ESET NOD32 Antivirus - tick
- CCCleaner - tick
NOD 32 is always on obviously, i use the rest occasionally, also Hitman Pro and Glary Utilities.
