What software/programs do you use to protect your computer?

Now, I'm using those programs:

- Ad-Aware Antivirus
- Malware Bytes Anti-malware
- ESET NOD32 Antivirus
- CCCleaner

What software do you use as webmaster and blogging to protect your computer of "bad people"?

Why would you have so much shit on your computer? It takes so many resources and barely does anything. I haven't used an anti-virus software in years. It's pretty easy to stay safe, just don't open everything you see on the Internet.

I've just Bitdefender on my mac.

McAfee and Kerish Doctor 2016.

I use ccleaner

avg paid vesion, pc tuner

Avast and Ccleaner

Kaspersky since last 6 or more years and it has never ever given up on me

Malwarebytes pro.

And I have a step by step guide for reloading my laptop from drivers right down to software, logins, licences etc so I reload every 3 months as well.

So many god awful programs listed in the thread.

If anyone uses SEO software on their own machine they need to look into what the fuck these programs are doing to their internet connection.

No fucking way would I ever allow something like Avira onto my machine so it can hijack every thing that I do on my machine. I have been using MSE / Defender (not bitdefender) since it came out and have never had any issues despite having to visit some dodgy websites and then some.

If you do happen to be infected through user dumbness you can remove it with something like Malwarebytes, nothing else compares in my experience. MSE / Defender and Malwarebytes is unbeatable for a combination of low false positives, low system impact and high detection rates.

Windows Defender does the job perfectly.

all I need is 360 total security its like all in one firewall and scanner

The real question here is, how often do you download executables and run them in Admin mode so that you need 3 different Anti-viruses?

I personally use 360 total security which is basicly 3 antiviruses in one (bitdefender, avira, and their antivirus) i can set the security settings and it automaticly scans my system files when i go to paypal etc any internet shopping or something, i can also lock system files so they are not changeable and it has a ton of other crap that comes with it and it is for free

I use ESET SECURITY CENTER, works great for me

Windows Defender on default antivirus for microsoft on windows 10...
antivirus will only make your PC slow, just don't download files from untrusted sites and you will be fine.
