No, I'm not looking to compete with this forum (doubt I ever could anyway even if I wanted!). Totally different subject catagory. I noticed some new features of vBulletin look similar but can't really tell for sure.

I cant believe you had to ask that ! Setting up forums is always hard.....if you think about it...If i goto a forum thats just been setup and i find out im the first poster il be taking big steps in the oposite direction....Diamond dave saw a market and grabbed that market now what you need to do is find another niche what no one has tapped into and go from there

Sorry about that andy! For some odd reason i get notices of posts to some threads and not to others even when I'm supposedly subscribed to them so i didn't know you posted this.

Anyway, thanks for info, and again to repeat myself, I was NOT asking to create anything like this site. I like the features and the setup, that's all. What I'm interested in creating is completely different in every way, not even vaguely in the same category.

Yes of course I had to ask, I didn't see anywhere in big plain words, "This site created by Diamond Dave", especially considering admin/owner does not necessarily mean WEBMASTER of a particular site. People do pay others for that type of work ya know
