Hello everybody!

I just came across this forum through the Netflix series about crypto haha. But that's of course not the reason why I'm creating this thread. I was looking through this forum and reckoned that you could give me some advice on what to do next with my account.

I have a Insta page with 3.5k followers right now and an average engagement of +/- 15%. I post pictures/videos about rollercoasters.

I want this page to eventually grow to a real brand kind of thing. Having a own website where I post news articles, reviews about parks, send out a digital newspaper, create subscription boxes etc... But I'm finding the transition quite difficult. I'm just posting pictures of rollercoasters with information about that coaster right now and thats it.

Therefore my question. How can I make the transition the best without overloading my fans with to much information at once. Should I wait till I get more followers before announcing a new thing or should I do it now? At the moment I'm kinda "afraid" to take the next step, because I don't want to blow up the account or failing with a implementation. And maybe if I announce the next step, how can I make sure that my followers will also be engaged with that? I reach a good amount of people and many people engage in comparison with my follower count, so that's not the problem, but don't want to mess that up.

Maybe the question is a bit difficult to answer, but I hope that you could help me with this.

Kind Regards

I've always built any Instagram pages AFTER I built a site. But I don't think there is any time to procrastinate if you should add a blog, (I'm not sure if you are saying you have one ATM and you have been posting on it, and you haven't joined it up yet.) But you should be aware that Instagram is a 3rd party website so ultimately you might find yourself losing the account. You won't run into such issues with your own site. You have much more options to do things with your traffic once you get them onto your site. Sure people run offers in the bio, but a similar or exact brand match site will go a long way further for you. You don't need to make a large announcement if you are worried about that either, you can try some watermarks first to your domain, and see if you can notice an increase in traffic with that for example.

Thanks! The reason why I want to add a website is because Instagram is just a 3rd party website and if my account gets lost, all the progress is gone. Therefore it might be a good time to create a website and finish that, so that I don't worry about the Insta page getting lost and finally can expand the image of my brand on my own page.

What should be the main tip to focus on when creating a website? SEO related then. Will add a blog and expand the theme park / rollercoasters related information on the site.

Thanks!
