Hello,
I’ve already found lots of useful information on the forum.
Currently, I am struggling with processing payment for my online store.
Short background
I used to use Stripe and PayPal to process payments on my online store. I know that lots of people nowadays complain about Stripe, but it worked perfectly for me. Unfortunately, it’s not a solution for me anymore. Because I mostly have customers who order again from me, I decided to accept bank transfers. I used Payoneer, Revolut, Wise, and Clear Junction. All of them worked for some time until they became very strict regarding transactions. They literally want proof for everything, which generates lots of paperwork. It was funny when they asked me to do so many pictures of myself with ID. I am glad that they didn’t want my selfie with my dog. Anyway, Revolut was the best for processing domestic UK payments. However, sometimes it declines payments from customers and returns them back. I don’t know why. I lost sale because customers was confused about that.
This is why I try to look for new payment methods for my online store. I am based in the UK. Need to process approximately $1000 daily. It’s average because during the weekend pick, I can have $4000.
The main question is what payment method I can implement.
I know that the highest conversion ratio is when I processed card payments, but it’s not the direction that I want to follow. The conversion ratio was at an acceptable level with bank payments, which I am struggling with anyway.
Are there any other possibilities to process payments? I don’t know, maybe e-wallet, app, or whatever. If this is straightforward, it can be even a gift card. Assuming that I can cash out this gift card easily.
I will highly appreciate any idea that comes to your mind.
I am aware that crypto can solve all my problems, and I will be more than happy to accept crypto, but I am afraid that the conversion ratio will dramatically drop.
