What not to do in Amazon Affiliate?

Hey there,
I have seen a lot of people saying that they got their Amazon Affiliate ban? But, I have followed all the instruction - May be I might be missing some.
I'm currently making more than $6000 - $7000 from Amazon Affiliate itself.

So, how can I not get banned.
Did you get your Affiliate banned? How?
What should I do to be in safer side?

Any help will be appretiated.

Will you tell me how you're making that much with Amazon for $9.99?

Edit - On a more serious note check this out. This has some good tips on what "not to do" under their affiliate program.

in the past i made many video reviews to some hot amazon products, the daily income from that was amazing... they waited... and without any warning, ban the account with $2700 in it..

How many videos you uploaded to make that amount.The highest I made with amazon so far is $31 per month

I think you mentioned prices or gave people incentive to buy the products mentioned which is against their terms of service.I

Why can't we mention prices?

Have you visited the biggest Amazon affiliate site, thisiswhyimbroke.com?

Their strategy is very simple.

1. Pick funny outlandish products.
2. Write funny descriptions of 6 to 7 sentences
3. Upload to the website.

Their purpose is to entertain. Most of the people who visit then don't buy anything but they do happen to visit the affiliate link. This stores a cookie in their system for 24 hours and if they purchase any other products from Amazon during that time then the affiliate commission is paid to thisiswhyimbroke.com

So, the philosophy is simple in the case of this website. You have to entertain people in order to grab their attention. And when you grab their attention then traffic starts coming.

Once the traffic starts coming, the dollars start coming.

Its better not to mention the price because if the price of the product change on the amazon website the visitor will think Amazon is misleading them which hurts Amazon brand.That owner of that website better be-careful of the color scheme of those buy it now buttons it look too much like Amazon's buttons which can get him/her into trouble with Amazon

i used hundreds of videos, not a small investment, it was a proof of concept if my system can do auto-promotion of many videos to get non-stop long tail super targeted traffic to amazon offers, the answer was YES.
but they didn't liked the high conversion ratio, it was too high for them (i can only guess).

and no i didn't mention any price, i said "click here on the link below for the best price for this product...."

BTW, i did tried to use another amazon partner account later (one that is not related to the banned account) to link to the same videos i already uploaded, it didn't work so good, after a short while the same again, they banned that account and took the revenues with it. so i got my proof of concept, and i redirected all the links to walmart and others.

I got my account banned, which was making $3000 - $7000 a month for several reasons.

1. Me and a friend had different Amazon accounts but both of us shared the same office and IP.
2. We stated that we donated 20% of our profit to charity, which was incentivizing people to click and is a bannable offense, harsh but true!
3. Emailed [email protected] to plead our case, which caused me, the later, to get my account banned. hehe

Stay away from communicating to them, asking them questions and all of the usual shit. Basically, don't squeak, don't make a noise and for goodness sake don't go Boo....
