What motivates you to keep going?

I often find myself taking up tasks whole-heartedly but then you may not find me at the same spot the next day.

idk why but I loose motivation in an instant. I know there is money to be made but still the thought process of Getting started slow makes me loose all my interest to continue.

So... What motivates y'all to just keep going at it no matter what's the outcome?
What helped me the most in the last two months is to do what I plan to do, even if I'm bored, even if I'm lazy. If I could do just 10% of whatever I want to do in a day, over the next few days it gathers momentum, and then I see things start to happen - this little progress is what motivates me.

Currently I'm making most of my money from Upwork. In December last year, I planned to bid to 25 jobs on Upwork in a day. But as soon as I shortlisted what jobs I want to apply to, I would start making excuses on why it's not worth applying, looking for all the signs why it won't work (client wants freelancers from US only, I haven't done this work before, client needs native English freelancers etc etc). I decided I'd pitch to at least one job a day for next few weeks. First few days I didn't see any replies from clients. Then after a week, I got 3 clients who replied to my gigs on the same day. I closed one of them.

Since then, I've been bidding non-stop on Upwork. So what motivated me is momentum. Something should keep moving. If a client replies, that's momentum for me. Im not able to close all clients, and I aim for higher ticket projects now, but I still apply to these small $25-50 projects cuz winning them keeps my momentum alive ❤️

I hate my current life and I want to change it drastically. Blogging is the safest investment right now.

Coffee and tobacco - American Spirit, FUCK YEAH. Feel the goodness of teh nature.

Go see some poor people who don't have enough to help their families and children.

This scares the hell out me.

My daughter, wife, mother father and sister... and closer family :)

Freedom! I also struggle at shiny object syndrome. I figure affiliate marketing is the best avenue for me because of that. I can promote a variety of products and constantly switch niches once I automate some of the processes. I am still new but how I stay motivated is constantly telling myself diff reasons to continue. I’ll be better at seo and marketing so I have more skills to sell and I’ll also be able to make passive income.

I don't like having a job. Not because I'm lazy or whatever but just because there is so much in this world i want to experience, and a normal job is feeling like being locked up for me.

I always had issues keeping a job. I'm 27 now and i think i worked for over 50 companies already. So for me the only way to be fair is building something myself. This way i can stop wasting companies time by hiring me for nothing and i have the ability to earn way more than a average wage so i can live up to my dreams.

The one and only real dream i have is becoming a digital nomad. Everything i do is to make that dream come true. I don't need a house, i don't need to be at one place. All i want to do is travel the world and be able to work wherever i am.
Meeting new people, getting into weird situations and make every day different. Not the basic "At our company a single day is never the same!" bullshit. I mean a proper every day is different vibe.

I hope to make this true one day because if i have to keep working at companies till I'm 70 i would leave this world very disappointed.

Knowing that 90% of the people I'm competing against will probably give up at some point.

Its 100x harder to work when you are making good money than when you are not.

As for me, I have the problem and give up on it. Like, if I am comfortable with where I am now, why should I push myself to make more!

I like to work independently and its a place where I can work according my rules. Its true that there have huge difficulties and in fact till now I didn't get success in this platform though I believe that I can do it if I can do continue it with more efforts. So I can say that my motivation comes from my personality.

Food and money! To be frank hope i can recoup some losses that i made some mistakes on cyptocurrency and shares. Working on it....

Most of my motivation comes from two things being the go to guy for information, knowledge and grind "the feeling of working hard and it paying off one day".
The one thing that's helped me in the past is "Just do it now" , don't hold yourself back, start today and look back tomorrow knowing you have already started things moving.

So next time you go to do something, don't think tomorrow, next week, think "just do it now".

I mean, anytime I feel down or every time I'm just having a bad day or so I just go to youtube and I watch some videos of some big ass millionaire houses and/or some videos of famous youTubers giving pool parties with a bunch of hot babes around them. Then I get back to work.

Great question! Taking care financially of my family has always been a goal.

The most important motive is your life and how you want to live it, what you want to spend your time on, for me the greatest pleasure is to travel and find new acquaintances, this requires a large amount of money and free time, which is very difficult to achieve working in the office, turn your hobby into a business and you will never need anything, since your favorite business will bring pleasure and profit, which will allow you to open new opportunities
