If you really know what you are talking about, you would soon gain traction in your blog. But when you are copying and pasting stuff from other sites, that's when things get difficult.
If one wants to be a publisher, one needs to bring something NEW to the table.

@IM Rider said above me, they come from rural areas, and they are selling their "American" appeal to fellow Americans. That's why all those crazy antics and showing around backyard and everything. They are building a COMMUNITY of followers and not just selling a course.
But does the method work in the long term? It depends.
For a competitive niche like SEO, it will NEVER WORK! And that's the reason they don't rank for as many keywords as they should. (Maybe they are not focused on SEO for their primary site.)
They are probably more focused on getting you to cross that first barrier and reach a couple thousands in a year or two. And that's where it ends.
For beginners, it's an "okay" training, especially who are lazy to self-study and need a school-life curriculum.
For advanced bloggers (or those who have crossed that beginner stage), this training is probably not the right choice.
