What is wrong with Income School?

I've tried following there method and it does not work. Just have a look at their sites and see the amount of backlinks these sites have lol

Since all the information is already available freely, I don't recommend buying any course. But IS definitely has very useful information and their method works. I've been using their keyword research method and snippet method and the results are incredible. There's nothing revolutionary about their method, but nobody used to talk about it earlier. Now the newer courses like Passive Income Geek etc promote the same methods in their own course.

As far as the links go, they say that links are important but they don't encourage building links. The keyword research and snippet optimization is enough to rank low comp keywords and get snippets without links. Of course if you have the time or money, you can build as many links as you like. Nobody is going to rank for competitive keywords without links. But the whole point is to find keywords that don't need links.

I'm not affiliated with them in anyway and I'm not even a member. But I definitely found their methods very useful. It's all on their YT channel.
Actually I'm kinda following their method without even knowing it, going for the low comp keywords, getting organic backlinks, I've been churning out the content for the past 3 months (2 to 4 articles daily).
I'm not even in their course, (not in any course regarding seo btw), but yeah Passive Income Geek putted out a lot of content, it's basically enough to get you started

I documented it all here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/b...-to-passive-1k-month-already-started.1292705/

How long have you tried it? I'm actually pretty interested to know

6-7 Months. Started with a fresh domain, posted 30 3k word articles and left it for 7 months. I'm the only visitor there. Lol

Yeah that’s pretty much it. It’s kind of a no-brainer to target low comp keywords if you’re not planning to build links.

Are you sure you’re following their method? Because if you have 30 3000 word articles, you’re only targeting pillar posts (I’m assuming). Most of the initial traffic will come from response posts and not pillar posts.

There’s definitely something wrong with the keyword research. You’re probably targeting competitive keywords. You should be getting around 4-500 page views a month by now.

The method works...The youtube channel has more than enough info to get you going...

As far as their secret method. Heres their secret method.
They are Idaho. Idaho, Montana, nabraska are as rural America as you can get.
They write about quirky things in quirky style using quirky keywords that if you are not from Idaho or nabraska you wont understand.
Does a newyorker know what camper means. Does newyork times writes about campers. No.
So they have clear field in terms of competition from authority sites as no big site will write about campers.
Their other site are about similar stuff.
Also jim is a good blogger, blogging since long time.
If you are from Mumbai, newyork or london etc forget about it. You got too much competition from authority sites.

The most important part of blogging that almost no one talks about... that is, EXPERTISE on the topic.

If you really know what you are talking about, you would soon gain traction in your blog. But when you are copying and pasting stuff from other sites, that's when things get difficult.

If one wants to be a publisher, one needs to bring something NEW to the table.

Tough to execute but that's what works.

I know their method works, though these two guys seem too cheerful for my taste, always laughing...aargh!

And $449 for the first year for those who are absolutely new to the thing—they are not targeting those who are lurking around in BHW, discussing secret SEO recipes. For those who are starting out, they need a clear-cut instruction manual and that's what they get with P24.

As @IM Rider said above me, they come from rural areas, and they are selling their "American" appeal to fellow Americans. That's why all those crazy antics and showing around backyard and everything. They are building a COMMUNITY of followers and not just selling a course.

But does the method work in the long term? It depends.

For a competitive niche like SEO, it will NEVER WORK! And that's the reason they don't rank for as many keywords as they should. (Maybe they are not focused on SEO for their primary site.)

They are probably more focused on getting you to cross that first barrier and reach a couple thousands in a year or two. And that's where it ends.

For beginners, it's an "okay" training, especially who are lazy to self-study and need a school-life curriculum.

For advanced bloggers (or those who have crossed that beginner stage), this training is probably not the right choice.
